When most people hear the word “Frustration” – something negative happens in their mind. Their mind is filled with some kind of negative vibes.

But same is not the case when successful people hear that. Instead, they embrace it. They treat frustrations as their main tool to get the success. A tool which helps them cut the hardest rocks. They believe that frustration bring possibilities to help them grow. It’s nothing but a challenge which is a chance to make things better.

For example, complaining client, unsupportive colleague or employee-unfriendly human resource policy – all are valid reasons which ignite frustrations. But think of the opportunities lie inside each of the frustration:

  • Complaining client could be an opportunity to take your services to the next level.
  • Unsupportive colleague could be an opportunity to improve your communication and to build lasting personal relationship.
  • Employee unfriendly human resource policy could be an opportunity to reevaluate your own past actions – to affirm whether you are working with right kind of organization.

So key here is to create a process to handle the frustration better next time. Remember, a frustration is only a frustration if you encounter it twice!

To go to the next level, embrace frustrations – to avoid them is to avoid growth.
