Projects can be heavily benefited if team-relationship is good. Managing projects become glossy if a good sense of community is in place.
Here’s something to think about (and act upon):
Three Deadly Scenes:
- Team members treat each other as co-workers not friends.
- Win-lose scenarios. In a conflict, one person usually wins at others expense.
- Team members are not as effective as they would be if a good sense of community in place.
Three Decisive Questions:
- Don’t you too believe that good team-relationship can lead to project success?
- What steps can you take right now to explain its importance to every team member?
- Where would you spend your time when there is no need to get engaged in conflict-management?
So, what are you waiting for? Saw the seeds of good-relationship among team members and reap the successful project in the end.
Further, How To Inaugurate Effectiveness In Your Project Team, which was selected in Leadership development carnival for September 2009 is a good read on team effectiveness.
