- Learn to politely say “No” – Emphasis on clear project specifications. Do not accept any requirements from informal sources like phone calls and chats.
- Educate her that developers are just human beings. They can not assume anything on their own and perform unto the expectation. Patiently demand specific requirements from her.
- Carefully listen to her. Understand what is her exact pain-point? Never use sarcastic language incommunication. Make her feel that she can trust you.
- Implement a clear cut communication system with clear responsibilities with her. Never break this system and do not allow her to break this.
- Focus on the solution, not the problem. Remember, what you believe is what you get.
- Never try to prove her wrong even if she is. It doesn’t help getting projects done.
- Do not start work before taking considerable portion of the payment in advance.
- Keep your words. Always do what you say you would do. Integrity is the weapon which always hit the target. Develop the living full of integrity.
