Shakespeare said "Life is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." - I much prefer your meaning: "to discover that there’s no meaning of life unless we (or someone) assign a meaning to it" - thank you so much for doing the life lesson series, Utpal!

Thanks Tanmay for adding a detailed perspective to point #1 and I agree that groundwork definitely helps build confidence.

However, the way humans are designed, generally we tend to give... give away our thoughts for free and then forgetting about it... and then we complain that our thoughts are not listened to. So, if we really need to get a thought well-received, we need to really work 'ON' that rather than just being caught 'IN' that.

Very sound advice Utpal - With respect to point #1, I would say that when you are passionate enough about the purpose of your idea and how it will solve a real business challenge, that passion shows up in expressing the idea.

Having said that, enough ground work helps build confidence. I have also realized that the method and approach to present ideas is crucial too. A lot of people exchange ideas in an ad-hoc manner, over the water cooler. That doesn't help. It is very important for the presenter to bring the receiver in the right frame. Best is to schedule time, give some overview and let the other person be prepared to attend your thought.

Thanks for those useful pointers.
