One More Reason To Use Gmail As Your Email Client

by Utpal Vaishnav on August 3, 2009

Everyone likes it. It has narrowed the difference between web and desktop. It is none other than Gmail – a fantastic email service from Google.

Given that Gmail had provided several options to be used as to be served as the email client, there was a minor inconvenience. Gmail had to include your primary email address and some mail clients like Microsoft Outlook inform users that this message is sent “On Behalf Of” it didn’t look professional especially in business emails.

The reason for “On behalf of” was also logical. “The reason we include your address in the headers at all is to help prevent your mail from being flagged as spam by your recipients’ email services – as per this Gmail Help discussion.

Google has implemented a workaround for this – Click Here for details about how to implement it in your ownGmail account.
