Importance of Being Specific While Stating Requirements

by Utpal Vaishnav on December 17, 2008

Man Prayed to God: “Please give me a bag full of money, a job and a vehicle full of girls”
God replied: “Tathaastu!” {Meaning : So it be… your wish is granted!}

And then…

God made him a bus conductor (Job with a bag full of money) of BMTC (Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation) — Ladies Special Bus! (full of girls…) fulfilling his prayer.

Moral: Requirement specification should be CLEAR-CUT; Be as specific as you can, you’ll never be regretted!
